Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by the new blog. I took the old one down because, well, it was too old. So I started this one recently, and have been trying to get it going. Still ironing out some of the kinks, so consider this the first official post!
I’m planning on using this blog for a couple of things. 1) I’d like to post a photo of the week which will showcase a photo of mine. I’m still working on getting that setup. 2) I’m also going to post some other topics, mostly what I find interesting and want to share with the photography community.

With that out of the way, I’d like to start off the first post with a photo I took the other night of my dog. This was with my brand new Canon 5D Mark II, and the 50mm 1.4 lens. I was pretty much taking test photos all night long, and she finally gave up on being my model and wanted to take a nap. I think I snagged a really good “test” shot here!
