While on our recent URBEX outing, we found access to a very normal looking building. Upon first entry, there wasn’t much it seemed to offer. The first floor was boarded up pretty good, and there was no light except from our flash lights. Without giving up easy, we walked to the base of the stairs and saw some light, so we headed up. There were 3 rooms, with a couple of rooms off of them that offered some great shots! I was excited (and I know Bob and Brian were too)!
I’m not sure what the purpose was for this building. I think I’m better off not knowing. The thing I found about this building was the “heaviness” I felt while inside. I don’t know what it was, but I’m sure we can make assumptions. The air felt thick… and cold. Outside temperatures were about 55F, but even with the large gaping hole in the roof, these rooms were cold. We could see our breath at times, and the tripods were incredibly cold. Could it be the concrete walls just keeping some of the cooler air inside? Who’s to say…
With all that being said – would you want to know what the poison was used for?
