Big sky, smaller rainbow

They don’t call it big sky country for nothing! Here’s an HDR the big sky and a “little” rainbow we saw in the Grand Tetons National Park. This rainbow, by the way, was not small! When we turned onto the road to take us to Mormon Row we were greeted with this big bright rainbow and an even bigger storm cloud I found it quite interesting how the rainbow was positioned perfectly so it looked like it was sitting on top of a pot of gold – or in this case some very expensive looking houses. Since I was using the Canon 14mm f/2.8L to capture the big sky in the photo above, the photo below shows you the pot of gold at the end of this rainbow.

If only that pot of gold was mine – I’d love to have one of those houses with the view of the mountains!
